Roasted Tomatillo Salsa

We made this at the HighCross Farm CSA potluck. It was fantastic!
6 fresh tomatillos
4 large tomatoes
juice from one lime
2 or more fresh hot peppers
3 garlic cloves, unpeeled
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1 onion, coarsely chopped
1.5 teaspoons coarse salt
Preheat broiler.
If using fresh tomatillos, remove husks and rinse under warm water to remove stickiness. [...]
