Today I volunteered at HighCross Farm for the morning. I arrived between 8:15 -08:30 and stayed until about 12:15. It was a hot day today too! Let me tell ya, my time FLIES when I’m there. Today I had the pleasure of planting Asian greens with a nice kid named Dustin. For 16 years old, he knows how to farm. Talking to him and Brittany while working makes my time on the farm, that much more enjoyable. When I got home, I was parched, hot and ready for something cool and refreshing. So I made myself one of these:
What is that? A glass of milk? Oh no….
This my blog friends is what they call Cartagena Limeade
For those who may not be able to click the link…
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar.
In a blender, purée all ingredients with 3 ice cubes. Pour into any type of glassware and serve with a straw.
Talk about delicious. You should give it a try.
